The YES program was developed so that teenagers with a common interest could come together. Students from schools all over San Antonio and beyond (this year we had one student from Alaska) work, learn and have fun at South west Research Institute.
   ;The YES program strives to be a workshop where the students can explore their potentials in all scientific fields. Each day is filled with multiple classes and speakers who work in the fields which the YES students find appealing and interesting. We do numerous week-long workshops. This year we did WWW/HTML, electronics, C++, Mathematica and Problem solving. We also take field trips through some of the hundreds of divisions at South west Research Institute. Dr. Dan Boice runs the program, he is a great guy. He listens, and treats everybody like adults.
