My name is Katherine Satterfield. I was born in New Braunfels, Texas.
I moved to San Antonio when I was two, and then moved to New York when I was nine.
I grew up a lot in Binghamton, New York. I made friends, and really 'came out of my shell'.
I recently moved back down to San Antonio, Texas; the summer before my freshman year in high school.
I was very depressed when I moved back to Texas. I lived 5 years up there, and I missed it.
now that I am an rising senior, I accept my situation. I like that I've changed. I like the change. I am now much more hardworking, I no longer procrastinate till the day AFTER everything is due, and I accept my place in life. I doubt that everyone else will feel the same way. But I
have had experiences not everyone else can attest to. I love my life. I
wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The choices I have to make this
year, as a senior, will effect my life from now on. I know that there are so
many choices, so many possibilities, and it is all so difficult and
challenging. I have so many goals, and I don't know exactly how I will
accomplish everything.
What I do know is that I will attend college, or a university. Be it public or private. The whole world should expect to see me there. I love to learn, and I am a very hard worker. anything that is presented to me shall be completed in full. I'm not a quitter, I don't give up on anything that I just started. I love being me. I have been told I'm mature for my age, I have an "old soul". I understand a lot more than many other 17 year olds, but I still have a long way to go. I know I'm merely starting my quest on life, and I want to make the best of it that I can. I'm not exactly sure of what I want to do, but when I find it, I know that I will be extremely passionate about it.
