YES Program 2008
| "The YES Program is a wonderful and eye opening experience." |

| Projects My YES Independent Study Mentor Ship Project will be focused on designing new spacecraft or advanced prosthetics for the medical field. I am still figuring out the specifcs of my ISM presentation, but I hope to study more about how I can use engineering in the medical and aerospace fields. I plan on coming up with a design for a new CEV that would make missions to the moon and in the future, Mars, more cost effeceint and safe. I also would like to design new technology that can either help with the rehabilitation of injured animals or humans. |
Interests I am highly interested in aerospace and biomedical engineering. However I am interested in many things other than just the sciences. I am an avid reader; I listen to an eclectic style of music and also enjoy playing my own. I play the clarinet and bass guitar. I play video games often and I also enjoy hanging out with friends as well as traveling. I have been to Ireland, Wales, and Britain and I hope on traveling to many more places. Take a look around the page to learn more about me. |
About Alex Info![]() My Name is Alexander Constantine; I attend Communications Arts High School and I will be entering my senior year. I am president of my school's Environment Club, Vice President of our Student Council and I also devote my time to a community service organization, Helping Hands, as well as participate in my school's film club. I enjoy spending my time at the San Antonio Humane Society and volunteering with Hospice. I have four dogs and one older sibling. Family is important to me and so are my friends. I am a pretty simple person and have a passion for writing and engineering. |
Career My future aspirations hopefully will lead me to a career in either the aerospace or biomedical field of engineering. I would really enjoy designing and creating new spacecraft or airplanes. However I would also like to help people with disabilities by engineering new prosthetics that would virtually eliminate their problems. I plan on attending Stanford University, or possible Texas A&M College Station. |
