I am going to be a senior at Taft High School in San Antonio, TX. To tell you the truth, I am a spy for my mother country (which I cannot say because of national security). I am using the identity of an innocent little boy named Akshai so that I can access some confidential files held here at Southwest Research. My codename is Boogaf (that was very foolish of me since this might get into the wrong hands. Let's just pretend I didn't say that.). I am not really that little Indian boy in the photo. I am really a 6'2" Caucasian male with huge biceps (Oh great! Now I gave away my identity. I got to stop thinking aloud.). But for safekeeping, I will provide you with information on this Akshai kid...
He is a lost American with a Hindustani background. He wanted to make a difference in this world, providing a ray of hope to those who lacked faith. He was one of those people who would say "Hi" when he met you and "Bye" when you departed. He was never a fearless man, yet he feared nothing. He was never perceived as brave, yet everyone saw him as courageous. This oxymoron of a man is Akshai Ramakrishnan.
I was a Chicago-born, Texas native. I am going to graduate from high school in the year 1997. I am interested in architectural engineering, and I love math. Basically all I know is math. Even though I contain these interests I still am unsure on what I want to do for an ISM project. I would appreciate it if any of you could provide me with cool research topics or project ideas. You must also be wondering about the YES program. Even though everyone else is discussing the YES program I'm gonna be unoriginal and say the same thing. The YES program is for people who share an interest in science and engineering. We get to take part in such fun projects as making our own sirens through soldering electronic circuit boards, or making our own web page like I'm doing right now.
