WARNING: This has a lot of reading to do... please do not get bored and stop.
I used to be a rockette for CHORUS LINE on Broadway. I was known as Innocent Iris. I had it all, a great career, a lot of money, a Persian wombat named Fifi. It was heaven. Then it went downhill after the night of the BIG STORM. It was so unbelievable that I need to tell someone. Oh well... anyways, now that you are completely bored by my life, I'll talk more about the YES program and my plans.
As you know, I am a participant in YES during the summer of 1996. It is a fun and interesting program that helps alleviate the boringness of the lazy days of summer. We learn a lot of new and interesting things, such as constructing this web page, learning about electronics, soldering our own electronic project, and learning about C++, Mathematica, and problem solving. E-mail Mrs. Hooper, the ISM teacher, at jhooper@tenet.edu or Dr. Daniel Boice, the YES coordinator, at dan@whipple.space.swri.edu. This program is an excellent opportunity to learn more, and hopefully this web page will help spread the word around. It may even be possible to start other YES programs or other similar programs in your own city.
As of yet, I am still one of the poor, confused souls about my future. I have many interests, but I lack the ability to narrow down this wide range of interests and decide on ONE thing to follow up on for the rest of my life. As you may have already read on the previous page, my interests range in the fields of science and math, from astronomy to chemistry to environmental science. I would like to help design and/or produce something that would help save the environment. Pollutants deal a lot with chemistry, so I would be able to utilize another field that I enjoy. I currently do not have a mentor or a specific idea for a project, so I'm open to any ideas... feel free to e-mail me... Astronomy also interests me. Below is a picture of the universe...

Well, I guess this is it so far... if you've made it to here, I'm assuming you must have the same interests that I have. If so, then please e-mail me...janoiko@espsun.space.swri.edu. Until then... :)
